Health guarantee

The buyer agrees that the puppy will be free from infectious diseases, specifically Distemper and Rabies, for a period of 3 days. No other infectious diseases or viruses are covered under this agreement.

It is the buyer’s responsibility to have the puppy checked by their own veterinarian within 48 hours, at their own expense. If the puppy is not checked within this timeframe, the guarantee is void. The guarantee also does not cover hernias, undescended testicles, reproduction issues, size, color, or temperament.

If the puppy is sold or transferred to another owner, the guarantee is void and no refund will be given. The breeder may replace the puppy within 1 year if it is found to have a serious, life-threatening genetic defect. The time and selection of the replacement puppy is up to the breeder, but it should not be unreasonable.

To qualify for a replacement, the buyer must bring the puppy to the breeder along with medical records and findings from their own veterinarian. The replacement puppy will be of the same quality, unless the buyer agrees to pay the price difference.

If the health of the puppy is in question, the buyer agrees to have the puppy checked by a veterinarian chosen by the seller, at the buyer’s expense. Both the buyer and the seller agree to abide by the veterinarian’s diagnosis. In any replacement situation, the registration papers must be signed over to the breeder and the original puppy returned, or proof of euthanasia at the buyer’s expense must be provided.

The seller will not be responsible for any expenses incurred by the buyer. Loose stools or Coccidian, which can be caused by stress during transport, are not the breeder’s responsibility. It is recommended that a stool sample be analyzed within 48 hours of the puppy arriving at its new home to check for internal intestinal parasites.

Therefore, all puppies going to new homes must have a stool sample analyzed by the buyer’s veterinarian to ensure they are free from such issues. If any problems arise, it is the buyer’s full responsibility to care for the puppy and not hold the breeder accountable in any way.

The breeder has administered a basic deworming product recommended by their own veterinarian, but cannot be held accountable for any problems that arise after the puppy is delivered to the buyer. The guarantee does not cover internal or external parasites. In the event of any legal disputes between the buyer and the seller, all legal action must take place in the state of Texas, specifically in the city of Brownsville.
